Seek the Angel's message

When angels and humans meet in the Bible, what are the first words the angels say?  How are their words good news to us?

Seek the King

   Jesus = King?  When do we see Jesus in our world?  Jesus compares himself to a king who moves among his subjects to see how he is treated; what is done for the least of those who belong to his family is truly done for him.  Matthew 25:31-46

Seek Christ's coming

   When is the end of all time?  What should we do until then? Jesus provides some clues in a conversation he has with his disciples.  Matthew 25:1-13

Seek to Join Isaiah's feast

How do you imagine heaven?  The Old Testament prophet Isaiah speaks of a feast, a banquet, of delicious things spread out for all...and there's still more...the end of tears and death itself.  Pretty amazing, isn't it!!  This is our future.  Bible reading:  Isaiah 25:6-9

Seek to Memorize

What do you have memorized?  What do you know by heart?  In the Old Testament book of Jeremiah, God speaks about wanting to know us humans so closely that God's laws are written on our heart.  Jeremiah 31:33-34

Seek to Sing God's praise

  What makes you want to sing?  What makes you want to give a shout of joy?  Psalm 96:1-6

Seek the Cornerstone

What does it mean that God chooses the stone that the expert builders reject--and uses that as the foundation of the building?  Matthew 21: 42

Seek Respect

How do we respect God?  How do we do God's will?  Matthew 21:28-31

Seek a Strong Foundation

Who does Jesus chose for the foundation of his group of disciples?  Forgiven, bumbling sinners like Simon Peter, like you and me.
